Opportunities to Connect at Hope
At Hope Community Chapel we gather in many ways. From Sunday morning worship service and Sunday School to weekly accountability and discipleship groups to social events for everyone. No matter how we come together, it is for the purpose of connecting as believers and spreading the love of Jesus with all who come. We hope you will join us!
Men
The men come together to pursue accountability and spiritual growth as godly men, husbands, fathers, friends, and employees. There is mentorship and encouragement between the younger and older men in the prayer that they grow as leaders in their own families as authentic followers of Jesus Christ. The men also meet many of the physical needs of the church as well as outreach in the community.
The Men’s Accountability Group meets weekly at the church on Thursday’s at 7:30 AM.
Women
The ladies ministry consists of several smaller “Discipleship Cores.” The cores meet on a regular basis, each with their own schedule and area of study. The Discipleship Cores exist as a space to pour into each other spiritually as disciples of Jesus Christ, holding each other accountable through regular study of God’s word and fellowship. The women encourage each other to do the will of God and hold fast to scripture in all they do and wherever they go as members of the body of Christ.
The women also meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM to simply fellowship together. All are welcome! Some of the ladies even bring their knitting or other crafts.
Seniors
Our seniors (age 50 plus) are social and servant hearted. The seniors gather to fellowship with each other and the community. They visit and pray for those in nursing homes, rehab hospitals, and those in need at home. The seniors also organize the Operation Christmas Child program for the whole church. Not only do they care so much for others but they get together for Christian concerts, fellowship meals, scenic outings, and more!
Children’s Sunday School
Parents are their children’s most important teacher. We jump in second to pour the Gospel message, spiritually and practically, over children to guide their steps in this world. Our hope is to empower their faith now so they will walk with Jesus throughout their lives on earth and through eternity.
Children’s Sunday School meets during the message part of the weekly worship service on Sunday’s at 9:30 AM.
Adult Sunday School
Sunday School meets regularly after the worship service (around 11:00 AM). They study a variety of topics, and coffee is always involved!
Fellowship
There are many times throughout the year for groups and families to come together for food, fun, and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to encourage each other and reach out to neighbors, friends, and loved ones.
